The Whisky – Cask No. 1
Our first bottling of Ae Fond Kiss is a Highland single malt whisky matured in a single cask for 15 years and bottled at 46% abv to preserve the identity of the pure spirit. Nothing has been added or taken away, leaving the spirit in its natural state and non-chill filtered. Every element of Ae Fond Kiss whisky is hand crafted for your pleasure and enjoyment with each bottle and box being unique as they are all individually numbered and signed by the Artist.
The colour is light golden straw with a nose of freshly cut grass with a hint of citrus. The taste is nutty and spicy with vanilla overtones and a subtle background of oranges and finally the long lasting finish will leave you with a hint of toffee… a truly satisfying Dram to enjoy with your loved ones.

The Thought Process
Susan took the name of the whisky from the words of the Scottish ballad “Ae Fond Kiss” by Robert Burns. The ideas for the design came from the romantic story behind “Ae Fond Kiss” which can be found written in the love letters between the poet Robert Burns and Agnes McLehose. You will find the warmth and passion of these letters contained in the essence of a unique Highland single malt whisky which is sealed in a heart shaped bottle and treasured in a keepsake box. The box carries the sentiment from this famous Scottish song.
“Thine be ilka joy and treasure. Peace, enjoyment, love and pleasure”
This makes “Ae Fond Kiss” either the perfect gift or something very special to be shared with friends and family.
The lyrics to the song “Ae Fond Kiss” were found in the final love letter from the Scottish poet Robert Burns to Agnes McLehose in 1791.
“Ae fond kiss, and then we sever;
Ae fareweel, and then for ever!
Deep in heart-wrung tears I’ll pledge thee,
Warring sighs and groans I’ll wage thee.”
